GMAlex gets a new style

Since I started this page in 2008 many things happened. I get a bachelor degree in computer science, I developed the user access manager, started my master study and many more. Because of this many changes I decided to also change the style of gm-alex.de.

The idea

I have made the header for an other project which never gets done, so I decided to use it for the new style of my blog, because I still liked the style of the design. I want to create a clean but cool looking design which is not so dark then the old one.

User Access Manager 1.0

Today I released the User Access Manager Version 1.0. Since the Beta 2 I try to fix all known bugs and speed the User Access Manager up. I think now it’s fast and stable. I would thank all people which help me to find bugs and fix speed issues. Some people send me the following error report:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /users/web/wp-content/plugins/user-access-manager/class/UserAccessManager.class.

UAM 1.0 Beta

The future of the UAM

After I received many mails and comments that the UAM doesn’t work with WP 3.0 I have started with the new version. My plan is to reduce the output at the access group creation page and integrate the options more in the WordPress admin panel. That means that you can’t add posts, pages and users at the access group creation page, because some guys have also problems with that if the have many posts (PHP script execution time limit). This options will be at the post, page and user edit pages. I hope you will agree that this is a good way to handle it.

weitere Oxid Module

Zwei weitere Module haben den Weg zur Veröffentlichung gefunden.
Einmal ein Mini-Modul, dass es ermöglicht, in der Variantenübersicht im Adminpanel abc Preise zu definieren. Dies war zuvor nur möglich, indem man umständlich in jeder Variante die Preise einzeln eingeben musste.

User Access Manager – Bugs

In den letzten Tagen erreichten mich mehrere Mails bezüglich des UAM und Problemen im hinblick auf WordPress 2.8. Leider habe ich im Moment nicht wirklich die Zeit mich um das Plugin zu kümmern und falsche Versprechungen möchte ich ungern machen. Ich denke ich werde frühstens in zwei Wochen die Zeit dazu finden mich hierum zu kümmern. Ich hoffe auf euer Verständniss.

User Access Manager 0.8.0.1

Da ich jetzt wieder etwas Zeit gefunden habe ist nun auch die neue Version des User Access Mannager fertig. Neu in dieser Version des UAM sind die verbesserten Einstellungen für Dateien, verbesserte JavaScript Funktionen durch die sich der UAM noch intuitiver bedienen lässt, die Möglichkeit den Zugriff für Editoren etc. zu steuern und die Kompatibilität zu WordPress 2.6. Natürlich sind auch alle mir bekannten Bugs beseitigt worden. Hier geht es zum Manager: User Access Manager 0.8.0.

User Access Manager 0.7 *Update*

*Update*

Neue Version mit zwei kleinen Fixes. “Fatal error: Non-static method UserAccessManager::print_elements() cannot be called statically in /***/wp-content/plugins/user-access-manager/user-access-manager.php on line 1527″ kommt aufgrund einer anderen PHP Version als meinen Testversionen. Ich denke es müsste jetzt gefixed sein, esseiden Google hat mich belogen. ;-)
